Thanks for the report. Sounds like Chinese culture may be changing in a positive way = by which I suppose I mean “becoming more like my Western culture.” And the fact that people are equating hackerspaces with that positive change in the direction of greater freedom is most Excellent.

“Bureaucratic anarchism” is a new form of anarchism I hadn’t heard of before! We’ll have to get David Graeber to cover it.

I had to laugh at the image of the sinister Dalai Lama + Unabomber hybrid, blowing things up willynilly at airports, crazed with an unquenchable appetite for destruction.

I love TOYHOUSE as a translation (or trans-culturation?) of “hackerspace”! Totally brill.

Does the TV-B-Gone Remote convert your television into a book with the press of a button? I hope so!
